Going "hog" wild!

This past Sunday I found myself out at Savannah Harley Davidson photographing some of their finest bikes. You can laugh!! It was a bit of a surprise to me too! And no, sorry gals, I don't ride! But I did admire some of their famously beautiful "Hogs". Oh, and I took some fabulous photographs! Cheers, Jess

My Sunday Adventures with SCAD's Car Club

I have recently been given the opportunity to photograph automobiles under the guidance of one of SCAD's great photography professors. Some of you know already that the automobile industry is a large part of my family's livelihood so you bet I jumped when this opportunity came around. I know, I know!! it's different than anything you are going to see on the rest of my page. It never hurts to try new things is what I say though. And with every car we photograph I am learning a little more about how I work, how I see, and what light can do. So what can I say? I will edit the photos and give you back a cd of your images(at minimum 20-25 images). You can then print your images as you like, maybe for save-the-date cards or to frame and keep as a treasured reminder of this special time. I can do printing for you for at an additional fee.

The H. Family

I was invited to spend the day after Christmas photographing the H. family and upon arriving I fell in love with them immediately. Every one was so welcoming and honest. And truley the toughest part of being a photographer is probably getting people to relax enough to be themselves while you are there. I wanted to share some of the outtakes becaues they make me smile inside and out! This is what family is about...

Catching up...

Some of you may already know this, but if not please know that we are okay, and doing just fine!!

Charles was rushed into the ER last week with stomach/chest pains. We were rushed back, and test after test was ran. After what seemed like hours of waiting we finally got to 1-get some answers and 2-met his surgical team. It seems that his gal bladder was the culprit and needed removing. I am glad and relieved to say that he is doing very well and with a bit more light duty he will make a full recovery. We often joke that our family really can ring in a new year in style! Well, it was Memorial Style this year! ; )

Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and phone calls. Thank you to the family and friends who stood by us during those long days. And special thanks to Heather and Michael who helped out with H. without hesitation. Thank you. I am humbled by all of the generosity and kindness.

Finally, if I have photos that belong to you (and I do have a couple of outstanding orders!! )please know that they are in the works!! I have not forgotten you!! They will be ready for delivery really really soon!
